In one hadith:
Anas bin Malik narrated that after the battle of Uhud, Hazrat Muhammad PBUH said:
This is a mountain which loves us and is loved by us. O Allah! Abraham made Makah a sanctuary, and I make the (area) in between these two mountains of (medina) a sanctuary (Sahih Al Bukhari 4084).
Jannat ul Baqi
The word Baqi means (a plot and tract of land that contains a mixture of plants). It is the largest graveyard located in Madina near Masjid-e-Nawabi. It includes the graves of 1000 companions of our beloved Prophet PBUH.
Significance of Janant ul Baqi:
There are many hadith which shows the significance of Jannat ul Baqi.
The Prophet PBUH said:
“Two cemeteries illuminate for the people of paradise just as the sun and moon illuminate the Earth, our cemetery in Baqi and the cemetery of Asqalan.”
There is one more hadith which shows its significance:
Al Hujun and Baqi cemeteries in Makah and Madina are taken by their edges and scattered in paradise. Indeed, I intercede for whoever dies in them.
Masjid e Ghamana.
The word Ghamana means cloud in Arabic. It is the oldest mosque in Islam. In this, Prophet PBUH performed the Eid Prayer. It was built by Umar bin Abdul Aziz.
Significance of masjid e Ghamana
When there is famine in the Medina. Prophet (PBUH) offered Salat ul Istiqaa in this mosque.
Masjid e jumma
It is also called Masjid-e-Wadi. Masjid e Jumma is located in Madina. It is where the Prophet, peace be upon him, offered Jumma prayer after the migration from Makah and Madina.
Significance of masjid Jumma:
Ibn Jarir narrated prophet peace be upon him, delivered the first khutbah of Jumma I at Masjid al-Jumma.
Prophet PBUH said,
Praise belongs to Allah. And I praise Him, ask for His forgiveness, and seek His guidance. I believe in Him and do not reject Him.
